An angry young man struggles to find his own identity
Created in 2000 by Andy Campbell, Fractured is the original Dreaming Methods project. A work of urban horror exploring lack of identity and feelings of isolation, Fractured uses a page-turning diary structure as its backbone. The diary connects to a series of interactive cut-scenes, all of which explore the unique properties of fragmented, digital text.
Glimpsing and chaotic narrative fragments (often literally unfinished sentences) that mix photography and illustrations with audio and mathematically-driven text structures mirror the protagonist's confused, angry and unstable condition. Contains strong language and some disturbing visuals.
