Pilot Theatre in collaboration with One to One Development Trust presents Monoliths, an imaginative VR experience that combines the soundscapes of real locations in the North with the stories of three Northern women. Audiences experience three artistically rendered environments based on real outdoor locations.

The Monoliths VR build - including 3D models, graphics, environments, sound integration, moving image and interactivity - was created by digital artists/developers Andy Campbell and Judi Alston.

We also produced a 360 film version for presentation at festivals and events and a Quest 2 version for StoryFutures.

Featuring spoken word poems by Hannah Davies, Carmen Marcus and Asma Elbadawi. Audio engineering by Mariana Lopez. Music by May Chi. Funded by XR Stories and Play On!
